The following edges are not used in mass effect:

  • Attractive and Very Attractive
  • Any having to do with anything arcane.
  • Any having to do with the supernatural.
  • Noble
  • Power Edges
  • All weird Edges
  • Followers and Sidekick Edges

The following edges are changed as follows:

  • Charismatic – Gain 40 full points to distribute between paragon and renegade.
  • Brawny – Adds +2 to maximum weight units instead of strength multiplier.
  • Berserk – has an additional requirement: Krogan. Renamed Blood Rage.

New Edges

Advanced Training

  • Requirements – Veteran
  • The character may choose one non-exclusive combat skill not normally available to him and add it to his list of combat skills.

Biotic Brawler

  • Requirements – Novice, Biotic Combat Skills at least at 1d6
  • The character’s unarmed melee attacks may use Spirit+2 instead of strength and the character is considered always armed.

Charge

  • Requirements – Seasoned, Krogan
  • You have mastered the krogan charge. You may move in a straight line up to your max pace + any run bonus. You may make a fighting roll against any opponent in your line. If you hit you deal your unarmed damage, including any edges or bonuses. Each target you hit must make a strength check or be pushed (1d3). For each raise on fighting the strength roll is made at -2. If they hit a solid object they fall prone. Unfortunately a charge leaves one vulnerable and the charger suffers a -2 to parry and people making a shooting roll gain a +2 bonus for the following round.

Damping

  • Requirements – Novice, Smarts d8, High-Quality(over 2000 credits) Omni-Tool or better
  • The character gains an additional 2 points of Armor when hit by damage-causing Tech or Biotic Skills.

Improved Damping

  • Requirements – Seasoned, Damping, High-Quality Omni-Tool or better
  • As above, but the Armor bonus is increased to 4.

Regeneration

  • Requirements – Krogan, Varren or Vorcha
  • Ranks – 5 (May be taken once per rank.
  • Once per mission you can regenerate. This is a free action taken on your turn. You may attempt to regenerate even if you are shaken. To regenerate you make a vigor roll. If the vigor dice rolls a 1 you fail regardless of the wild dice. If you have a success you can remove a single wound or the shaken condition. On a raise you can remove up to 2 wounds, or one shaken and one wound. Additional raises do nothing. For each additional rank you take of this you may regenerate one additional time per mission.

Reserve Power Cell

  • Requirements – Seasoned
  • The character may spend Bennies to remove C/D tokens (1/per token).

Tech Expert

  • Requirements – Novice, Smarts d8, Hacking d8, Repair d8
  • The character adds +2 to Hacking and Repair rolls, as well as Notice rolls made pertaining to either Skill.

Class Edges

Adept
Prerequisite: Novice, Adept class
Ranks: 2 (Rank 2 requires Veteran and rank 1)
+1 to damage with biotics, +1 Hardening.

Engineer
Prerequisite: Novice, Engineer class
Ranks: 2 (Rank 2 requires Veteran and rank 1)
+1 to damage with tech, +1 to first aid rolls

Infiltrator
Prerequisite: Novice, Infiltrator class
Ranks: 2 (Rank 2 requires Veteran and rank 1)
+1 to damage with a Sniper rifle and tech powers, and a Sniper rifles weight decreases by .75 units.

Sentinel
Prerequisite: Novice, Sentinel class
Ranks: 2 (Rank 2 requires Veteran and rank 1)
+1 to damage with a pistol and powers, and your maximum weight increases by .5 units.

Soldier
Prerequisite: Novice, Soldier Class
Ranks: 2 (Rank 2 requires Veteran and rank 1)
+1 to damage with all weapons and melee and your maximum weight units increases by 1.

Vanguard
Prerequisite: Novice, Vanguard class
Ranks: 2 (Rank 2 requires Veteran and rank 1)
+1 to damage with a shotgun, melee and biotic powers, and the weight of a shotgun decreases by .5 units.

Commando
Prerequisite: Legendary, Either rank 2 of soldier or rank 2 of Infiltrator.
+1 to damage with all weapons and powers and your maximum weight units increases by 2 units.

Bastion
Prerequisite: Prerequisite: Legendary, Either rank 2 of Adept or rank 2 of Sentinel.
+1 to damage with biotic powers, Warp now affects a small burst centered on an area or a target (users choice).

Medic
Prerequisite: Legendary, Either rank 2 of Engineer or rank 2 of Sentinel.
When using medigel it may now functions as greater healing instead of just healing. When using medigel as healing, you may affects all allies and the user, no matter how far the distance between them. 1 medigel may now heal 2 allies instead of one. For instance, you may use first aid on 4 allies for the cost of 2 medigel. Your medigel capacity increases by 2.

Nemesis
Prerequisite: Legendary, Either rank 2 of Adept or rank 2 of Vanguard.
+1 to damage with biotic powers and Shockwave now strikes as a cone template.

Operative
Prerequisite: Legendary, Either rank 2 of Engineer or rank 2 of Infiltrator.
+1 to damage with tech powers and sabotage now works on shielded opponents.

Shock Trooper
Prerequisite: Legendary, Either rank 2 of soldier or rank 2 of Vanguard.
+1 to toughness, +1 to your maximum weight units and +1 to your pace.
